Over the last year, Amazon’s ad-supported Freevee service has really upped its game when it comes to content. September, however, was another light month if you’re into vintage pre-1980 films.
Added to Freevee in August:
- Spaceship to the Unknown (1966) – Flash Gordon serial from the 1930s condensed down for television.
- Piranha (1978) – Comedy Horror starring Bradford Dillman, Heather Menzies, Kevin McCarthy and Keenan Wynn.
- A Shot in the Dark (1964) – Comedy film in the Pink Panther franchise. Starring Peter Sellers, Elke Sommer, George Sanders and Herbert Lom. Directed by Blake Edwards.
- Return of the Seven (1966) – Western sequel starring Yul Brynner, Robert Fuller, Julián Mateos and Warren Oates.
- Guns of the Magnificent Seven (1969) – Western sequel starring George Kennedy, James Whitmore, Reni Santoni and Frank Silvera.
- The Magnificent Seven Ride! (1972) – Western sequel starring Lee Van Cleef, Stefanie Powers, Michael Callan and Pedro Armendáriz Jr.
