Here at Old Time Review, we like to update you on classic pre-1980 films which are available to view on streaming services. According to JustWatch, nine titles were added to the MGM Amazon Prime channel this week. Nearly all derive from the United Artists library.
This week saw a number of iconic Clint Eastwood roles including the Spaghetti Western “the man with no name” trilogy of films.
The films added include:

- The Apartment (1960) – Romantic Drama starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine.
- A Fistful of Dollars (1964) – Sergio Leone directed Western starring Clint Eastwood.
- For a Few Dollars More (1965) – Sergio Leone directed Western starring Clint Eastwood.
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) – Sergio Leone directed Western starring Clint Eastwood.
- Hang ’em High (1968) – Western starring Clint Eastwood.
- The Long Riders (1980) – Western starring David Carradine, Keith Carradine, Robert Carradine, James Remar, James Keach, Stacy Keach, Dennis Quaid and Randy Quaid among others.
- The Alamo (1960) – Historical War Epic directed by and staring John Wayne, with Richard Widmark and Laurence Harvey among others.
- Frogs (1972) Horror film starring Ray Milland, Sam Elliot and Joan Van Ark among others.
4th of November 2023
- The Decameron (1971) – Anthology film written and directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
