The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966) – This classic American Sitcom was created by Carl Reiner and ran on CBS for 158 episodes over 5 seasons. It starred Van Dyke alongside Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie and Morey Amsterdam. The show centered around the professional and personal life of Rob Petrie, a comedy writer for a television show, and the humorous situations he encountered both at work and at home.
The Rifleman (1958-1963) – A Four Star Television production, this Western ran for 168 episodes over 5 seasons and starred Chuck Connors, Johnny Crawford, and Paul Fix. It followed Lucas McCain (Connors), a widowed rancher and sharpshooter, as he navigated life in the Old West while raising his young son Mark (Crawford).
Death Valley Days (1952-1975) – Originally a radio show from 1930 to 1945, this Western anthology ran as a syndicated TV show from 1952 to 1970. It was then updated with new narrations in reruns until 1975. The show portrayed dramatized accounts of stories from the Old West, often featuring tales of frontier life and famous historical figures. Presenters of the show included Stanley Andrews, Robert Taylor, Ronald Reagan and Dale Robertson. Overall, it ran for 452 episodes over 18 seasons.
The Real McCoys (1957-1963) – This black and white American sitcom followed the daily lives of the McCoy family from the hills of West Virginia, as they adjusted to life in California. It ran for 224 episodes over 6 seasons and starred Walter Brennan, Richard Crenna and Kathleen Nolan.
That Girl (1966-1971) – This sitcom followed the life of an aspiring young actress living in New York city of starred Marlo Thomas as Ann Marie, with a supporting cast including Ted Bessell, Rosemary DeCamp and Lew Parker.
The Mike Wallace Interview (1957-1960) – Interview show that featured in-depth conversations with notable figures. FilmRise has 24 episodes of The Mike Wallace Interview, including heavyweights George Jessel, Aldous Huxley, Gloria Swanson, Sammy Davis Jr and Eleanor Roosevelt.
The Best of Groucho Marx – A complication series featuring memorable highlights from the game show You Bet Your Life, 1950 to 1961.
The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp (1955-1961) – This Western series chronicled the adventures and exploits of the legendary lawman, played by Hugh O’Brian, as he enforced justice in the untamed territories of the American West. It ran for 226 episodes over 6 seasons.
The Joey Bishop Show (1961-1965) This classic American sitcom followed the life of a talk show host and comedian as he navigated the challenges and humor of show business and family life. It changed its format a few times, but select cast members remained unchanged. Alongside Bishop was Abby Dalton, Joe Besser and Guy Marks. It ran for 123 episodes over 4 seasons.
The Classic Friars Club Roasts – A series of Comedy roasts that aired over several decades. The roasts available to watch are Johnny Carson, Don Rickles, Jack Benny, Milton Berle and Jerry Lewis.
The Danny Thomas Show (1956-1964) – This American sitcom was originally titled as Make Room For Daddy, until season 4. FilmRise picks up the show from this point, all the way to season 11. It starred Thomas as Danny Williams, a successful comedian and nightclub entertainer.
The New Howdy Doody Show (1976-1977) – A short lived 70s revival of the classic American children’s variety show featuring puppets.
The Adventures of Jim Bowie (1957-1958) – American Western series which ran for 76 episodes over 2 seasons. It starred Scott Forbes in the title role.
