Coming to The Capitol, Horsham: Liliaceae

A new play, penned by Jordan and Annabelle Farrell, commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.

When war broke out in August 1914, we know that thousands of men went away to fight. But do we know so much about what happened to the women who were left behind, and their journey?

Liliaceae is a powerful and poignant two-act play exploring the journey of the women of one family, the Lathams. It follows their course through the devastation of the early years of the war; their struggle for unity despite the turmoil of such a destructive conflict, through love, bitterness, and patriotism.

Jordan and Annabelle Farrell’s two-act play is powerful and heartbreaking, and you will be transported further into the Lathams’ world through the emotive inclusion of popular music from the early 1900s.

Directed by Jordan Farrell, Stone Circle Productions presents Liliaceae; Women blossoming through the sorrow of war.

An opening night offer makes tickets available on Wednesday 22nd August at just £10, while Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th will be just £12, with all performances starting at 7.45 pm at the Studio, The Capitol, Horsham.

Tickets are available from the box office on 01403 750220, or at www.thecapitolhorsham.com
