Interview: Four Days in June

Continuing our series of written interviews with unsigned and independent acts, we had the opportunity to submit questions to Four Days in June.

1) How did the band form?

The band started out as a side project between Louie and Jim who later brought in Rainey, Nick and Pete. About a year in and Pete left, Rainey moved onto guitar and Rob joined on bass after the abrupt end to his previous band. Since then we have honed our sound to where we are today.

2) How would you describe your music?

Post-hardcore with influences from 90s show gaze and melodic hardcore

3) Any plans for new releases?

We just released our new single ‘Confess’ which will be on our forthcoming album currently being written.

4) Do you ever travel outside of Kent?

We’ve recently been playing in Essex, London and plans to head out further afield this year.

5) What are your gigs like?

Our shows are full of energy with crowd mixing head-nodders and downright lunatics
