Jack Benny Virtual Convention Set to Return in February 2023

The International Jack Benny Fan Club has announced it will hold its annual “virtual convention” on the 17th, 18th and 19th of February 2023. Continuing into its third year, the convention is held via Zoom call and aims to celebrate the life and work of Jack Benny through interviews, re-enactments and presentations from a wide range of people.

Guests taking part in this year’s event include Carol Burnett, Leonard Maltin, Keith Scott, Lucie Arnaz, and even British author Neil Gaiman. Theatrical presentations of Benny-related works include performances from Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, Buck Benny, No Soap Radio, Gregg Oppenheimer, Project Audion, Jack West and Brad Zinn. Add to this a variety of researchers and podcasters who will be presenting themed presentations.

International Jack Benny Fan Club President Laura Leibowitz says: The Character-based humor of Jack Benny is just as funny today as it was to our parents and grandparents. It’s gratifying to help Jack continue to find new fans through social media, podcasts, satellite radio, and our virtual convention. Everyone leaves happier.”

For more details on running times and the cost of the convention, please see the Jack Benny International Fan Club website. Please note that events are subject to change.
