Pluto TV, an ad-supported streaming platform, has added a dedicated channel for JAG to its linear TV lineup. It runs for 24 hours a day.
Created by Donald P. Bellisario, JAG first aired on NBC in 1995 before moving to CBS, where it continued until 2005. It ran for 227 episodes over 10 seasons. The cast included David James Elliott, Catherine Bell, Patrick Labyorteaux, and John M. Jackson.
The series was set in the world of the Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, revolving around the legal and military adventures of Harmon Rabb and his colleagues. The show combined courtroom drama with military action.
Pluto TV has expanded its selection in July, with the addition of a number of linear channels devoted to classic TV shows. Dedicated channels include Dynasty, The Love Boat, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Melrose Place. The Classic TV channel has also had an overhaul, with Happy Days, Mork & Mindy, and The Brady Bunch freshening up the schedule. The channel had previously been home to non-stop repeats of Laurel and Hardy.
