Old Time Review To Launch Radio Show

1

When this project began to take off, the idea was to produce a podcast or a radio show to supplement the amazing amount of reaction on social media. I experimented with a few ideas, with only a few getting off the ground. Our podcasts have a sporadic production schedule because of the time involved, and ongoing guests are difficult to get. A radio show was always low on the list of priorities, but only because getting a broadcaster would be a tough challenge. I felt that devoting time to finding a suitable partner to air the show would see other areas suffer.

After establishing some highly successful corners of the website, I feel that now is the time to take our radio journey forward. I have already ordered jingles from Music Radio Creative, and plan to present a weekly one hour show. The purpose would be to review, discuss and promote TV, radio and film before 1980. The music would have an earlier focus of pre-1970, with particular attention towards Rock n Roll, Country and Swing. I am a presenter with over ten years of experience and would like to provide a slant towards speech content.

I plan to find a single licensed broadcaster (Internet or otherwise) per country. This is to lower the number of contacts and make sure each station is getting a unique show for their audience.
