Talking Pictures TV is planning to broadcast 1950s TV series ‘Overseas Press Club’, following the recent additions of ‘Catweazle‘ and ‘Hazell‘. Announced in the recent channel newsletter, the show has been unseen for 50 years.
First broadcast in 1957, this series features individual dramas based on the adventures of famous reporters who witnessed some of the most extraordinary stories of the 20th century. It features performances by, among others, Phyllis Calvert, Peter Wyngarde, Richard O’Sullivan, Robert Raglan and Peter Arne.
Talking Pictures TV will broadcast ‘Overseas Press Club’ on Tuesday the 12th of November at 11:00am, continuing at the same time every weekday.
