What is The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin?
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin originally aired on BBC1 from 1976 to 1979. It was written by David Nobbs and follows Reggie Perrin, a middle-aged sales executive at Sunshine Desserts, as he becomes increasingly disillusioned with the monotony of his job, marriage, and suburban life.
The show consisted of 21 episodes over three series. It was followed by a sequel series, The Legacy of Reginald Perrin in 1996.
Alongside Rossiter, the cast included Pauline Yates, Sally-Jane Spencer, Sue Nicholls and John Barron among many others.
