Terry and June showing on Drama Channel

Good news for fans of classic BBC comedy! Terry and June is airing every weekday on Drama. The current run started on Monday the 22nd of January 2024.

Terry and June first aired on the BBC in 1979. It starred June Whitfield and Terry Scott in the title roles, playing a middle age, middle class couple. It ran for 65 episodes over 9 series, ending in 1987. The pair had previously starred together in Happily Ever After, which aired from 1974 to 1979.

This turned out to be one of Scott’s last TV projects before passing away in 1994. Whitfield would go on to feature in many sitcoms including Absolutely Fabulous, Last of the Summer Wine, Boomers and The Green Green Grass. She passed away in 2018.
