That’s TV have announced their intention to broadcast the 1980s sitcom Fresh Fields. Starring Anton Rodgers and Julia McKenzie, it followed the lives of middle aged couple Hester and William Fields.
The ITV sitcom was produced by Thames TV, and aired between 1984 and 1986 for 28 episodes over 4 series. Alongside McKenzie and Rodgers, Fanny Rowe, Ballard Berkeley and Ann Beach also feature. A sequel series, French Fields, aired in 1989, running until 1991. Both shows have previously aired on Drama and Granada Plus.
That’s TV has been broadcasting a number of classic series as part of it’s schedule. Other shows have included Benny Hill, Sorry, Goodnight Sweetheart and Shameless.
