Sky channel Rewind TV is set to air a classic piece of archive from TSW, unseen since its original broadcast.
Archive television channel Rewind TV has teased a new addition to its schedule. They posted an image of Ernie Wise, inviting the audience to guess which show they’ve acquired.
“Coming soon to Rewind TV, we’ve secured a very prestigious quiz show,” the post begins. Above a picture of Ernie Wise, it states, “One week the special celebrity guest was this gentleman.” The post also claims the show is “unseen since its original transmission.”
British game show That’s My Dog was made by ITV region TSW, and aired for 57 episodes over 5 series between 1984 and 1988. It featured dogs competing in a series of rounds and challenges. There was also a round where the celebrity identity of a dog’s owner had to be identified. The show was hosted by Derek Hobson, who created it alongside John Viner. The hostess was Louise Burton.
Since launching earlier this year, Rewind TV has become home to many obscure British classics. These include Hancock, Worzel Gummidge Down Under and more. Currently available on Sky, there is no news yet on its launch on other platforms.
At present, it is unknown when this show will air on Rewind TV.
