Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? originally aired on BBC1 from 1973 to 1974. It was written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. The show followed the lives of two friends, Terry Collier (played by Bolam) and Bob Ferris (played by Bewes), as they navigated through a changing Britain.
The series consisted of 26 episodes spread across two series, along with a 45-minute Christmas special. The show won the BAFTA Television Award for Best Situation Comedy in 1974.
