Eureka Entertainment have announced their brand new release of 1965 French-American screwball comedy What’s New Pussycat?.
In Woody Allen’s screenwriting and acting debut, Clive Donner directs Allen, Peter Sellers and Peter O’Toole. It also stars Romy Schneider, Paula Prentiss, Ursula Andress and Capucine, alongside Sellers for a second time.
What’s New Pussycat? features the well-known and award-winning title track by Tom Jones. O’Toole plays lothario Michael, accompanied in increasingly zany shenanigans by hapless friend Victor (Allen) and psychoanalyst Dr. Fritz Fassbender (Sellers).
Eureka Entertainment present the high-definition digital transfer of What’s New Pussycat? on UK Blu-ray for the first time. Along with the film, extra features are to include: English subtitles for the hard of hearing, brand new audio commentary, theatrical trailer and a collector’s booklet.
What’s New Pussycat? comes to Blu-ray as part of the Eureka Classics range on 2nd December 2019. It is available to pre-order from Eureka Entertainment and Amazon.
