Woody Allen’s Radio Days to air on Talking Pictures

It has been announced that Talking Pictures TV will air the 1987 film Radio Days, written and directed by Woody Allen.

Radio Days follows Joe’s family through the prism of the radio shows they listened to during the 1930s and 40s. The narration from grown-up Joe (Allen) interweaves his relatives’ personalities and family life by relating to the Old Time Radio programmes and events that particularly affected and interested them.

It features an ensemble cast including Allen, Hy Hazel, Mia Farrow, Dianne Wiest, Jeff Daniels, and Seth Green among others. The soundtrack was populated by several songs from the 30s and 40s. The film won two Baftas for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design respectively.

Woody Allen’s Radio Days will be broadcast on Sunday the 26th of November at 3:10pm. Please see schedule for further listings.
